The Great Scott Ultimate Barrel Vice is a specialized tool designed primarily for separating 700 Remington barreled actions, but it has also been reported to work with other rifle brands. It is particularly effective for removing tough 700 barreled actions, including sporter barrels, factory varmint barrels, or any size. The vise is known for making the process of disassembling these types of rifles easier.
The recoil lug retainer is the SECRET for breaking loose tough barrels. If you do not wish to use the recoil lug pocket, simply turn the rig around.

Barrel Vise
Another great product from Urban Rifleman. Bolted it to my bench and used it today when installing one of Bradley’s barrels onto a Remington action. It held the barrel securely and didn’t leave a mark. Definitely a well made product. Another great product from Urban Rifleman. Used it today to mount one of Bradley’s heavy non-tapered barrels onto a Remington action. Barrel was held securely without any slippage or marks left.
