This is the THE afforable benchrest stock. This is the one that you want. This stock is fully endorsed by the Urbanrifleman. I have tested this stock, and have built several absolutely gorgeous and small shooting bench and F class rifles using Remington 700 actions.
These stocks will all be equipped with the ALUMINUM BEDDING BLOCK. THESE ARE THE SHORT ACTION. This bedding block, absolutely, positively, does not need to be bedded to shoot 1" 500 yard groups with calibers that are offered right here in this store, with our PREFIT barrels (I have done it myself).
****NOTE!! PLEASE READ: These stocks with the bedding block are fit to a bone stock Remington 700 action with a stock recoil lug and trigger. If you are using a "Remington 700 footprint" action, an aftermarket trigger, or an aftermarket lug, SOME fitting may be required. This is typically not a big deal, but do not expect any action, trigger, or lug to simply drop in. Most front action screws will require some trimming in length.****
Most of the stocks offered in this model will be offered in the ULTRA HIGH gloss auto style finish. The only color that will be stocked in the stain finish is the Buckskin.

Excellent stock for my 6BR
The online pics do not do justice. These stocks are beautiful. The Aluminum bedding will work great. The area where the recoil lug goes in it was a bit oversized. I did had to dremel some material from the recoil lug channel to allow the action| to drop in. Be careful not too remove too much material. Do this before you install the barrel on your action (its much easier to test fit). If you purchase the straight profile barrel from UR which is 1.125in thick, it will be very close to the stock. What I did is grabbed some sand paper and wrapped it around a 1.25in 6in long wooden dowel and sanded the inside of the barrel channel on the stock just to give it enough clearance not to touch and allow more air access for cooling. It sands super easy. After the sanding apply a light coat of clear coat. I got the Cayene stock and its much more pretty in real life. Too bad I cannot upload pics for this review.

SA Revolution stock
This is the second Revolution stock I e purchased. That speaks for the product. If it didn’t work, wasn’t of high quality, and wasn’t delivered quickly and securely, why would I come back? I looked at other alternatives but kept coming back to what I knew worked and worked well. Next time I won’t waste my time looking elsewhere. I should add, too, that Bradley is A#1 on customer service. I had a couple questions (not about the stock). I called and he answered. In 15 minutes of conversation I got straight info and saved myself considerable frustration.
