PREFIT NUT BARREL (REM 700, SAVAGE SM/LG, TIKKA T3, KELBY, BAT, CURTIS AXIOM, BERGARA, RUGER AMERICAN, WIN M70))

This is the 4th barrel I have purchased from Urban Rifleman - this one in 20Sploder on Bradley's recommendation. For me, these barrels/nuts are an easy way to build a rifle in my shop, and allow me to change calibers easily if I so choose. Fit and finish of the barrels is outstanding, drawing compliments at the range for their looks and performance. Especially when mounted in one of UR's Revolution stocks!

The new barrel is great. I loaded up 8 different loads at random with 75 an 80 grain ELD-M. The best 5 shot group was .558" and the worst was .867 (which had a fouling shot after cleaning). Most all the other groups were in the .600" range. That's great accuracy for the first 40 rounds. Brad was great and kept me informed about shipping and was helpful on the phone with questions. I highly recommend.

I ordered a 30” 6BR 8 twist barrel with 104 free bore for a Savage Model 12 f class rifle. While fire forming brass I shot a 3-1/2” 8 shot group at 700 yards. This is my second barrel from Brad at UR and they both hammer. I’ll order my 3rd in a week or so. I think this is the VERY BEST value for prefit barrels on the market. Customer service is as great as it gets, Brad is great to communicate with you to get you what you want. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from me.

Had a Prefit Nut Barrel done in 30-06 for a Bergara B-14 action. The barrel looks great inside and out with a beautiful surface finish. Outstanding machine work on the chamber job and muzzle end. The rifle makes one ragged hole at 100yds now which it was never able to achieve with the factory barrel. I will not hesitate to come back for my next one!

I bought this 6br barrel about 3 years ago and set the project in the corner. I decided in April I was going to take it to a groundhog match. This barrel and a little luck on my part won me $210.00 I'm big on the use of a bore scope, and I'll be the first to say I was impressed with the machining of the barrel as soon as I got it. I would not hesitate to buy another. In fact I've got the itch to put a dasher together

Perfect timing! I just got finished mounting the barrel on a REM 700 LA. Total install time was maybe 25 minutes with much of that confirming go/no-go as I hand tightened and then torqued the barrel nut. This was my 3rd barrel from Bradley, so you can say I am a satisfied customer. Say what you will about mounting a nut barrel on a Remington action, but to me, the opportunity to easily switch barrels if desired is a major plus, let alone the satisfaction from doing it myself. For what it’s worth, I’ve mounted all three in Revolution stocks, also from Urban Rifleman

This is my second barrel and barrel nut I've purchased from Urban Rifleman. I am very pleased with the customer service Bradley offers (we talked through a number of options before I ordered this current barrel in 22BR), as well as the timeliness of production. While I haven't shot this barrel yet (it is mounted on my action and ready to go as soon as i get my seating die...), but I will say based on my previous experience that his barrels are shooters. When I think about building a new caliber, I check to see what UR offers before proceeding. Turn around time and pricing are more than reasonable, and along with excellent customer service, exceed my expectations.

Barrel install is very easy like other RemAge barrels I’ve done. First outing, within 50 rounds it’s shooting 1/2 MOA 5-shot groups with a random handload I threw together, 75 grain ELD-M and StaBall Match. Couldn’t be happier! Great price, fast shipping.
