SAVAGE SMALL SHANK BARREL NUT.

The Urbanrifleman barrel nut for the SAVAGE SMALL SHANK prefit type barrel.

This new design does not require a special wrench, but instead uses a typical HEX Flat (even a simple Cresent wrench works fine).

Made of 419 stainless steel.  FINISH IS BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL.

    I've gotten spoiled by this barrel nut: since it's a standard hex flat bolt (at least as far as your wrench is concerned), it's super easy to find tooling to install and/or remove. The Savage small shank nut takes a 1.25" wrench, in case you're looking.
